COPAC
The Eating Disorder program at COPAC is multi-staged, beginning with assessment, treatment, dietary and nutritional counseling and twelve step recovery. Their Secondary Program allows for patients to prepare their own meals as their personal responsibility grows. The program looks at shame and guilt while accepting powerlessness, explores the cultural systems which impact eating disorders, encourages same sex bonding with other recovering patients, and examines how eating disorders interplay with other issues. Del Amo Treatment
This center features a comprehensive residential program for adolescent females aged 12-17. The program addresses both the psychological and physiological aspects of teen issues. Del Amo also provides treatment for adults with eating disorders within a hospital setting. Patients receive individual, family and group psychotherapy; nutrional education and counseling, psychiatric and medical treatment, art and movement therapy, recreational and occupational therapy, twelve step methods, and management services. Renaissance - Pine Grove Housed within a manor, this the Women's Center appreciates the complexities involved in treating women with eating disorders, chemical dependencies, and both behaviors. They offer a variety of treatment options plus an intensive family therapy program that consists of 40 hours of intensive therapy spread throughout a week. Length of stay for eating disordered patients is typically 90 days, with a weekly evaluation. Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Rosewood
A center exclusively for women with eating disorders, Rosewood provides highly specialized treatment focusing on the causes of self-destructive behavior and negative belief systems. Treatment approaches include Cognitive and Behavioral models, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Imagery, Psychodrama, Trauma Recovery Models, Shame and Anger Reduction Interventions, Experiential Therapies, Expressive Arts Programs and Recreational and Wellness therapeutic activities. Shades of Hope A moderately priced facility specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. Shades of Hope is also designed to treat multiple addictions simultaneously. They also incorporate treatment for incest survivors, people suffering from physical, mental or sexual abuse, codependency, the adult children of alcoholics and adult children from dysfunctional families. The residencial programs are 42 days, followed by transitional living and one year of aftercare. Buffalo Gap, Texas.
Timberline Knolls
An innovative and purposefully built residential treatment center that serves the needs of adolescent girls and adult women, in separate programs. Set on 43 beautiful acres just outside of Chicago, Timberline Knolls offers a safe and serene environment for those who desire to make real life changes.
