for women

The following are some treatment centers for women, some of which allow patients to bring their young children.

Amity Circle Tree Ranch
Parents may bring up to two children with them to treatment, who then attend daycare or the nearby elementary school. Circle Tree Ranch offers "Mujer Sana - Healthy Women," a federally funded project to promote women's health through a 13 week program; a bi-monthly workshop on domestic violence education; and a bi-monthly seminar regarding victims of violence and childhood abuse. The center offers three courses of treatment: a 90 day period, a 7 month period, and 14 months or more, depending on the patent's needs. Tucson, Arizona.

Balboa Horizons
Women Only, located on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, California. This center was created and designed to help women recover from a seemingly hopeless state of body and mind. We continually work to reach the unreachable, and show women of all ages a new way to live without the aid of drugs or alcohol. We suggest 30 to 90 days and longer. It’s a clinically comprehensive program with a holistic approach with strong emphasis on the whole person: spiritual, biological, social and psychological.

COPAC, Inc.
Nationally recognized as a comprehensive residential care facility for the treatment of chemically dependent adults. COPAC's gender specific programs are designed to help patients deal with dual diagnosis, cross addiction, dysfunctional family issues, sober living skills, sexual compulsivity, chronic relapse, compulsive gambling and eating disorders. COPAC maintains the highest level of professional multidisciplinary treatment, is JCAHO accredited and approved by most insurance companies, while providing one of the most cost effective plans in the field today.

Evergreen Manor
Children under five are allowed to stay with their mothers during treatment and attend therapeutic childcare. Pregnant women can begin treatment during pregnancy, deliver their baby there and return seamlessly to treatment. Evergreen also features a no cost case management program called "Safe Babies, Safe Moms" for pregnant women or mothers with a child under six months. The program covers treatment, housing, family planning, behavioral health counseling, parenting education, prenatal care, continued education and job skills. Families are invited to participate in chemical dependency education and joint counseling during the weekend. Everett, Washington.

Harmony Place, Los Angeles, Exclusively for Women is internationally renowned for providing intimate, personalized programs for women seeking treatment of addiction and dual disorders. We offer a comfortable place to do uncomfortable work. We pride ourselves on furnishing the highest quality of women’s rehab available, blending traditional and holistic approaches to promote successful recovery from addiction, dual disorders and depression treatment.

New Found Life
A state licensed, certified and court approved residential treatment center for individuals recovering from the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. We have facilities and separate programs for both men and women overlooking the ocean in Long Beach, California. Our program addresses the psychological, physical, social and spiritual needs of the individual.
