The following are some treatment centers for women, some of which allow patients to bring their young children.

Amity Circle Tree Ranch
Parents may bring up to two children with them to treatment, who then attend daycare or the nearby elementary school. Circle Tree Ranch offers "Mujer Sana - Healthy Women," a federally funded project to promote women's health through a 13 week program; a bi-monthly workshop on domestic violence education; and a bi-monthly seminar regarding victims of violence and childhood abuse. The center offers three courses of treatment: a 90 day period, a 7 month period, and 14 months or more, depending on the patent's needs. Tucson, Arizona.

Evergreen Manor
Children under five are allowed to stay with their mothers during treatment and attend therapeutic childcare. Pregnant women can begin treatment during pregnancy, deliver their baby there and return seamlessly to treatment. Evergreen also features a no cost case management program called "Safe Babies, Safe Moms" for pregnant women or mothers with a child under six months. The program covers treatment, housing, family planning, behavioral health counseling, parenting education, prenatal care, continued education and job skills. Families are invited to participate in chemical dependency education and joint counseling during the weekend. Everett, Washington.

New Directions for Women
Providing residential rehabilitation services for women suffering from alcohol and drug abuse and other addictive disorders. Based on a Twelve Step model and a multi-disciplinary approach involving experiential therapy, New Directions believes in gender specific, culturally relevant and holistic treatment. New Directions specializes in also treating the children of patients, addressing the child's needs and utilizing an array of therapies. Treatment is offered in three phases and usually lasts about 90 days. Costa Mesa, California.

Orchid Recovery Center for Women
This facility offers the first holistic and individualized treatment approach designed specifically for women's recovery from alcoholism and/or drug addiction, as well as codependency, and other co-occurring disorders. The Orchid Treatment Program combines Twelve Step recovery philosophies with modern treatment modalities. Palm Springs, Florida.

Pine Grove Women's Center
Housed within a manor, the Women's Center appreciates the complexities involved in treating women with eating disorders and/or chemical dependency. This unique and distinct setting utilizes a multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary treatment team to triage treatment components based on the patient's needs. The program integrates several theoretical perspectives including medical, psychiatric, socio-cultural, feminist and Twelve Step. Length of stay is typically 90 days, with a weekly evaluation. Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

An innovative and purposefully built residential treatment center that serves the needs of women. Set on 43 beautiful acres just outside of Chicago, Timberline Knolls offers a safe and serene environment for those who desire to make real life changes.
